Introduction
The Interactive Spider Web was born out of the workshops conducted during the residency Vivarium in Bibliotheca (2016–2017, Romantic Brittany).
The result of the sound bestiary imagined by children and local residents, it took the form of a large web where each thread triggered a sound.
How it works
Participants were invited to touch the threads: each gesture activated a sonic creature, drawn from the recordings made during the workshops.
By brushing, plucking, or pulling a thread, one could make imaginary insects, transformed voices, and repurposed objects resonate.
Itinerary
Presented in several media libraries, schools, and exhibition venues across the territory, the Interactive Spider Web traveled as a touring exhibition.
At each stop, it offered a sensitive, collective, and playful experience, transforming the space into a shared sonic vivarium.
